Welcome Michelle D. Voudrie, DNP, FNP-BC
Decatur, IL – Cancer Care Specialists of Illinois (CCSI) is pleased to announce the addition of Michelle D. Voudrie, Nurse Practitioner, to its practice in June 2020. She primarily sees patients at the Cancer Care Center of O’Fallon and CCSI clinics at Sparta Community Hospital Specialty Clinic, HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital – Highland, and HSHS Holy Family Hospital in Greenville. Voudrie obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville in 2014. She went on to earn a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville in 2020.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Voudrie collaborates with the medical oncologist and conducts comprehensive patient assessments, assists with patient care plans, provides health exams, orders diagnostic tests (such as x-rays, CT/PET scans, and laboratory tests), and coordinates with other members of the patient’s health care team.
Voudrie is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is also a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the Alpha Sigma Tau-Nursing Honors Society.
