CCSI was founded by Dr. James L. Wade III during the mid-1980s. Dr. Wade established a practice in medical oncology and hematology in Decatur, Illinois, in 1984.
Since then, the practice has developed into a multi-specialty group, including medical and radiation oncologists who provide services in Central and Southern Illinois, as well as St. Louis Metro East. A strong commitment to bringing cancer services closer to patients and their families has also resulted in CCSI providing quality oncology services at many outreach clinics.
