Welcome Gibran H. Mahmud, M.D., Medical Oncologist
Centralia, IL – Cancer Care Specialists of Illinois (CCSI) is pleased to announce the addition of Gibran H. Mahmud, M.D., medical oncologist, to its medical practice. Dr. Mahmud joined Cancer Care Specialists of Illinois at Centralia Oncology Clinic in Centralia, IL, in January 2017.

Dr. Mahmud received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Portsmouth, Commonwealth of Dominica. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center at Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Mahmud went on to complete a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Saint Louis University.
Dr. Mahmud is board certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine. In addition, he holds membership in the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and Illinois State Medical Society.
