Multidimensional Cancer Program Introduced at St. Joseph’s Hospital

Beginning Wednesday, February 8, St. Joseph’s Hospital (SJH) in Highland will provide local residents access to a new comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer program in the Medical Arts Building (1520, 9th Street, Suite 250). The hospital’s new cancer care program will offer a full spectrum of clinical and support services from screening and diagnostic to treatment and counseling.
SJH has partnered with Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois, S.C. (CCSCI) – the largest cancer-focused interdisciplinary medical practice in Illinois outside of Chicago – to offer a full range of medical oncology and hematology services.
CCSCI is a multi-specialty group providing medical oncology, hematology, radiation and urologic oncology services at several locations in central and south-central Illinois, including Decatur, Effingham, Centralia, Clinton, Fairfield, Flora, Mattoon, Monticello, Olney, Pana, Shelbyville, Taylorville and Vandalia.
All services in the SJH cancer care program will be provided by Jane Grace M. Manalo, M.D. Dr. Manalo is a specialist in cancer and blood diseases. She is triple board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.
